Who are Surefire Circus Theatre?Surefire are Circus Performers. We are fire spinners, glow dancers, stilt walkers, and clowns. We are designers, artists, musicians, magicians, and comedians. We are business men and women, entrepreneurs, hippies, and seamstresses (is there a male word for seamstress? Because we’re those too). We are burlesquers, models, dancers, and statues. We are lions, lion tamers, candy girls, dragons, and mimes. We are creatures that have never been seen before and do not yet have a name. And we are, above all else, entertainers.  Surefire Circus Theatre is a collective of performers selected from some of the UK’s most promising circus talent. Our multi-skilled artists not only produce captivating circus shows; they also offer an unrivalled level of diversity and flexibility.Unlike many companies we are not an agency – each and every member of our team is, first and foremost, a circus performer. We therefore place an emphasis on entertainment and not just getting paid – this allows us to offer a friendly and personal service tailored to the theme of your night. This might mean using an existing act; this might mean hand-sewing a stilt costume from scratch just for you. Surefire Circus Theatre prides itself above all else on its ability to listen and to adapt. We are young enough to listen, and old enough to know what works. |
